- Open a session from the program calendar.
- Click Add Exercise. Search the library (each exercise shows whether it comes from PeakPlan or is one of your custom ones), select one or more, and add them.
- For each exercise, set the number of sets and the prescription for each set.
What you can prescribe
Each exercise has a primary metric (reps, time or distance) and optional tracking parameters. Turn on the ones you want for this exercise:
- Load: weight for each set.
- RPE: effort on a 1–10 scale.
- Tempo: speed of each rep, for example 3-0-1-0.
- Height: box or platform height.
- Watts: power output.
You can prescribe a single value or a range, for example 8–10 reps or RPE 7–8.
Percentage-based load
Switch the load to a percentage and PeakPlan works out the weight from the athlete’s 1RM or e1RM for that exercise. See How 1RM and e1RM are calculated.
Instructions, supersets and order
- Add Instructions: coaching cues the athlete sees with the exercise.
- Add superset: group an exercise with the one next to it.
- Move up and Move down: change the exercise order.
- Reset or Remove: from the exercise menu.
